Wendy Eley Jackson:
I'm so proud of this documentary! Go Sam Pollard!
Erika Bardere:
I watched this at my local film festival a year ago and it was the most incredible thing I've watched. You feel every single emotion possible while watching this. Tears were pouring out of my eyes during the scene when Michael Jackson sang to him, thanking him for paving the way for black musicians at Sammy's 60th party
inah:
looking forward to this
MusicFilmArtLover:
The first thing they show is Sammy diminishing his race. Based on this trailer, I see the whole film probably going to show him 1. Why blacks don't like him and 2. How he assimilate into the white race. I hope I am wrong but more than likely, this is the case when you have non-people of color or more specifically non African-Africans/Blacks descendant of slaves producing/directing editing such productions. I hope I am wrong and look forward to watching it at Toronto (if I'm allowed). Update: If Sam Pollard, one of my favorite producer/editors is behind this, then he must have reasons. I hope he did not sell out.
KEITH BAUCUM:
I love his singing.

There is NO PLACE FOR NAZIS, for the KKK and for White Supremacists in the Trump Administration!!! None! 45 MUST DISAVOW the KKK, White Supremacists and the Nazis who have been emboldened by his weaknesses and moral failures to NOT need these people to vote for him...a lie. Putin, the key racist is the one who put him in the presidency. 45 MUST disavow these groups and say he DOES NOT SUPPORT THEM. How can anyone in these groups be "fine" people. Is 45 mental????? The Bushes...41 and 43 disavowed them. The Republican party is in free fall. All the Independents and Conservatives are heading toward the opposite direction of the ALT RIGHT which is NOT REPUBLICAN. It is its own party of hate, hate, hate and home grown terrorism. If 45 doesn't have the moral courage to call them down? Then he is toast.
